Can't beat PETA and celebrities if you need a laugh!

I've decided that I should boycott celebrities who get a little fat in the head.

Take Sean Penn, and his "visit" to Iraq. you couldn't pay me enough money to go to another Sean Penn movie after that. Or Jane Fonda....that woman is thoroughly UN-American. Not only would I not pay to see any of her films, I think she's a shitty actress anyway. No loss there.

But the real question for me now is, should I also hold the same reguard for celebs that support PETA? There are some very interesting Celebrities that support that crap. For instance, Joaquin Phoenix. Who, unbeknownst to me, is supposed to play the late(and MUCH esteemed)Johnny Cash, in an upcoming film. If you read this article-on a page with the laughable name of "Cows are Cool"-you'll see that Joaquin had to have PETA approved boots. So in my opinion, he shouldn't be playing Johnny Cash. I like Joaquin. But Johnny Cash is a legend, and also a vehement leather wearer! You can go to any Johnny Cash site on the web and choose any photo of him, and he's got at least one piece of leather on. Not to mention, Johnny was born in Arkansas, and raised a farmer, and supported GUN RIGHTS. Somehow, I don't think anyone who was raised vegan, like Joaquin, would do this role any justice if you have to PETA approve your wardrobe. That would be like having Joaquin playing Ted Nugent. Although, Joaquin kinda looks like Johnny....

Martha Stewart renounces fur. WTF?! On this site, "Fur Is Dead.com", they feature Martha Stewart, who has apparently renounced FUR! Does anyone in America actually still give two shits about what Martha Stewart does? I never could stand that woman, but after the prison term, she has no pull anymore. At least not from what I've seen. In this article, there's a picture of Martha with her daughter, who, it says, is a vegitarian. She looks unhealthy to me.

I was a bit distressed to be reading another link on PETA's site about a Katrina relief effort they made, where they stated that Jamie Lee Curtis was a PETA friend. That's disappointing. I like the Halloween movies.

In the more funny department PETA has an article about P!NK supporting an Elephant Protection Ordinance, about Elephants being used as entertainment. And some weirdo in a bear costume is standing next to one of the Queen's Guards in England, in protest of their furry head pieces, which are made of bear pelts. And, more laughable than anything on that entire site to date, Andy Dick thinks we shouldn't dissect frogs in biology class anymore. He actually refers to WORMS "suffering" by being dissected. "Save the worms!" PETA actually labeled Andy Dick as a funny man.....I've never considered Andy Dick anything but generally annoying. He wants our kids to cut class, not frogs. Nice going Andy! Let's encourage kids to cut class, moron.

There's also a hidden article about Porn star Ron Jeremy wanting you to spay and neuter your pets. This one I agree with. I find it funny that Ron Jeremy is the one talking about it.
